Contemporary Jewellery Bristol

Contemporary hand-crafted jewellery made by Bristol maker, Sharon Fogarty. I work mainly with Silver and Gold & Brass, or a mixture of the three. Combining different metals within a piece gives the work a new dimension. I have up until this point always had a great love of all things Silver but am now starting to diversify and experiment with different metals. Each metal has it’s own qualities and is subsequently different to work with. Melting points are different which can sometimes be discovered during the soldering stage! Please feel free to browse the Gallery and contact Sharon if you are interested in any of the pieces shown or discuss a commission, etching can be a great way of adding a message into a piece such as the ‘dog-tags’ that are featured in the Gallery………

Inspiration

The Concrete Jungle & Urban environment in which we live is constantly changing providing a wide source of inspiration. My pieces evolve from a fusion of simple shapes & textures. Each pattern is different making each piece truly unique.
